About the Position:

South Africa Search & Rescue specializes in locating missing persons and we are in need of Missing Persons Volunteers nationwide. 

Job Requirements:

  • Must be be at least 18 years of age
  • Attend a Volunteer Orientation session
  • No experience is required but experience is an advantage
  • Be available as and when required

Job Description:

  • Respect confidentiality and privacy
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Have good communication skills and be sensitive to any situation
  • Be presentable
  • Carry out the duties listed in your volunteer position description
  • Be accountable
  • Give notice if your availability changes or you are leaving the organisation
  • Report any injuries or hazards that you notice in the workplace
  • Adhere to the organisation's policies and procedures
  • Deal with complaints in the appropriate manner
  • Undertake training as requested
  • Ask for support when needed
  • Support other team members
  • Stand in at events
